Youth Week has just finished. For the News Committee, as teenagers, we feel that it is equally important for us to celebrate our achievements and to support each other when we need it. Thus, we have compiled a few resources that you may find useful now, or in the future.
Free Support Phone Lines (New Zealand)
Youth line is a support line for young people facing problems. They offer a variety of different services including: counselling, information and referrals, training and seminars, and youth worker services.
What’s Up counselling phone line for 5-18 year olds is available from 1pm to 11pm, seven days a week, with trained counsellors taking the calls.

Youth Law NZ
YouthLaw is a free community law centre for children and young people nationwide. They provide free legal services to anyone aged under 25 who is unable to access legal help elsewhere, or to those acting on his or her behalf.
