With our ever-growing team of photographers, videographers, video editors, graphic designers, and writers, we are sure you’ll stay on top of school life, no matter which forms of media.

A message from the Head Writer for 2023
For the first year since the writers came back to News Committee, I’d say we did an incredible job. We started with no standards and templates to go off aside from our own collective ideas. Of course, our predecessors have made an impact on the kind of work we do today, such as our very own ‘Humans of Macleans College’ archive which we have expanded to the website from our Instagram page.
I’ve been blessed to lead an exceptional team this year with three very hard-working writers. While it has been tough trying to battle it out with the limited resources we had, we hit the ground running as soon as the website was launched.
My idea for this website was to “bring authentic student culture at Macleans College” to the wider community and the team has certainly brought that touch. We all write differently, all come from different areas of the school, so we all bring new things to the table as well as in our writing. Sure, we may have a set structure, but our styles are unique. I hope you can find that whenever you read something from us.
Thank you to the team of 2023 for the wonderful memories and hard work you have brought for the reboot of the writers’ team. To Aaron, who will be taking my place in the next few years, I wish him all the best and I look forward to the good work the team will continue to produce. I hope you will continue to bring authentic student culture to the wider community.
